How often do I need to change the filters?

Your filter will last up to 1 year thanks to our proprietary RealTrack algorithm that accurately calculates the remaining filter lifetime based on fan speed, usage time and pollution levels.

When it's time to replace the filter, the filter replacement LED on the interface will turn red to remind you. Alternatively, connect to the Blueair app to receive an alert and easily re-order at the touch of a button.

What is the warranty for the Blue Pure 211i Max?

Does toggling between the different PM levels (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) on the display change the specific types of pollutants that are filtered out of the air?

While many Blueair units come equipped with a PM2.5 sensor, some models, including Blue Pure 211i Max, Protect 70i, or Classic Pro CP7i, have advanced sensors that measure PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 levels for more precise air quality monitoring. However, the display on these models can only show one of these three particulate matter (PM) values at a time due to the size of the screen. The display can toggle between PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 readings to track the levels of different pollutants in their environment. Switching between these indicators does not affect the air purifier's performance or target a specific pollutant size to remove from the air. The air purifier continuously works to remove particles down to 0.1 micron from the air regardless of which PM indicator is displayed.

Worth 100 stars!
I have a BlueAir filter for each bedroom, living room and hallway. We could not survive smoky Oregon summers, dustmites, and Willamette Valley pollen without them. They are very energy efficient and effective. We use them year round. Kitchen smells also go away quickly. Quiet and really effective! Recommendedby Consumer Reports and simply awesome.

Quiet, and easy to set up
Easy to set up, easy to use app (setting multiple schedules for it to turn on when I want it to is AWESOME!) I have also noticed it detect pollution levels accordingly while cooking something that turned smokey. Looks sleek but very simple. The screen locking capability has been most important given I have 2 toddlers, it’s something I didn’t even consider whole shopping and is amazing to have.

Life changing Air quality!!
From the moment I turned it on, I noticed a difference in the air—crisper, cleaner, and no lingering odors. I suffer from seasonal allergies, and this device has made a huge difference in my comfort, especially in the mornings. It’s whisper-quiet on low settings and still powerful enough to refresh the whole room within minutes. The design is sleek and modern, so it blends in perfectly with my decor. The filter replacement is simple and affordable, too. If you’re on the fence—don’t be. This air purifier is worth every penny

Great system, but might be quite the splurge if yo
I love this air purifier in comparison to the others I own! It’s big enough and strong enough to filter my whole apartment. The noise it makes on low is very quiet, and on high it sounds like a quiet fan which is pretty soothing to me. It does make the air chilly but I also enjoy that. The app that goes with it is super easy to use and I especially appreciate the sensor that tells you what particulate matters and level of allergens are in your space. My only complaint is the cloth pre-filter, while it’s a great idea, my cat just seems to think this is her new scratching post.
