This unit is the ONLY of 5 blue air units that i absolutely hate. First. The air intake is on the bottom. Which means the dust bunnies from having vats and dogs get stick there and block air requiring me to get on my hands and knees to clean it daily.

Whats even worse is the hair gets sucked into the middle of the unit which is inaccessible for cleaning so i literalpy have to pluck what i can reach out from the cage on the inside using fingers or even tweezers for godsake.

Despite being in our biggest room with 6 cats, 6 humans, 2 dogs the filters arent ever really dirtt cuz all the dust clogs the unit before it can reach the filter.

Atop all that the unit goes almost immediately from auto to off amd doesnt kick on auto. I have to do a toe touch to turn ot on.

And if that werent bad enough the things fan wont pump air at all now while my other 4 ubits eome of which are older are still great.

Biggest issue is that the fan started to jam after 2.5 years. Started by making a rubbing sound, and a month later it wouldn't run on anything but high. I contacted BlueAir for warranty service. This is an expensive machine and I chose this company specifically because they advertised a 5-year warranty. What I didn't know, because it wasn't made clear when I bought it, is that the 5 year warranty is only good if you register the device with them. Because I missed that detail, they refused to honor the warranty. In my opinion this is false advertising and shady business practices. Shame on you BlueAir!

I bought this air purifier since my wife and I suddenly developed extreme allergies that we did not have before.

Just a caveat that this model, classic 605, is huge! And that is because of the large area that it can clear of air impurities. But you should have an idea were to place said unit prior to purchasing.

The purifier has three settings intensity-wise. We noticed that for a 500sq/f of area, our sneezing got lesser when the setting was on max (#3); if between 1 & 2 we were still sneezing.

Overall, we are satisfied and would recommend to our friends who are not too picky with the size.
