FAQ

How often do I need to change the filter?

Your Particle + Carbon filters will last up to 6 months thanks to our proprietary RealTrack algorithm that accurately calculates the remaining filter lifetime based on fan speed, usage time and pollution levels.

When it's time to replace the filter, the filter replacement LED on the interface will turn red to remind you. Alternatively, connect to the Blueair app to receive an alert and easily re-order at the touch of a button.

The humidification wick filter should be replaced every 6 months. It should be cleaned weekly when in use according to the instructions in the user manual to maintain optimal performance.

To clean the wick filter, rinse with water weekly, or for a deep clean, soak in citric acid and rinse. Use 20g of citric acid for every 1L of water for 1 hour. Rinse well under running tap water.

What room size is best for the 2-in-1 Purify + Humidify?

Love this QUIET 2-in-1
I love this 2-in-1! I love that I don't need two different machines. But, I especially love how effective it is at purifying and humidifying. It's really quiet. The night mode feature is awesome! It's so quiet and so dark! The app works really well.

Awesome product
The Blueair 2-in-1 purify + humidity is a really awesome product. It purifies the room air. It is also a humidifier. You can download the app and control the device and check your stats. Very pleased with the product.

Can’t live without this humidifier
2 in one Purifier and Humidifier
Really helps me breathe better. Really helps my dry itchy face. I keep it on night mode if I need it while I sleep. I try to keep it at 40 to 45% no higher. I'm really new to this and my friend was telling me how to maintain it and what % to keep it on. It has a manual speed. My fan speed is PM2.5 level. Easy to change the filters. I add water from the top and that super easy. Has nice carry handles. I feel much better since using this with my lung issues. I use this in the fall and winter months. It’s 26 inches tall by 13.6. I love having it in my family room in the day and in my bedroom during the night.

Quality and ease of use
If you have been searching for the perfect air purifier and or humidifier, I definitely recommend the Blueair 2 in 1 Humidify! Super user friendly, quiet, sleek and modern looking. I have owned a few air purifier’s and humidifiers in my day and this is by far the most user friendly one I have ever owned. Handles are easy to grab and comfortable using to pick up the unit. The back filter door tab is a faux leather pull, and the door is extremely easy to take off and put back on. Easy to take out the filters to vacuum off once a week. The water tank, you just pull up on the lever and pull out the tank, you can fill the water tank this way, or pour the water directly over the display unit on top, the second option is what I normally do. I fill my water tank about once a day, so for me it is a daily thing. You can kinda see the water level in the front peekaboo window on the bottom front of unit, and the app will also tell you if you’re running low on water. Some of the options that I really like are; being able to turn off the lights completely without the unit having to be in night mode. I want my unit to run on the second fan speed all the time, so I dont like using night mode because it wants to run quiet on the low speed and I want it to be a bit louder. I like that you can see the humidity level or the air quality on the top screen of the unit, the fact that it connects to WIFI is pretty awesome, because I get to use the cool app that works with it. The 2 in 1 gadget everyone needs!
Blueair 2 in 1 purifier + humidifier.
Before getting this machine I never even knew an air purifier / humidifier combo was a thing. I am pleased to announce, that it is now! This machine is the best of both worlds and helps with not only keeping the air you breathe clean, it also helps keep the moisture at a comfortable level.
The app ensures that your machine is always running at peak performance by telling you when you need to add water or change the filters. It also tells you the air quality and humidity level.
The only downside I feel is that the machine is fairly large, and it takes 3 different filters which could get expensive over time to keep replacing.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this item and the clean air it provides. It keeps my home less dusty and we all feel like we can breathe better in the house.
