I absolutely love the Blue Air dust magnets that we have in our house and recommend them to anybody who will listen. Before we started using them I was diagnosed with asthma. However, I believe it was due to allergies and dust mites. After installing small Blue Air dust magnet unit next to my bed my nighttime stuffiness disappeared. We put the larger one in the kitchen, and whenever I turn on my gas oven, I used used to feel gassed out because the smell of gas was so intense while the oven was heating up. After putting the dust magnet close to my oven while it was heating, I could continue working in the kitchen without smelling gas. These units do require maintenance. We have three cats and so have to clean the screens at least once a week and also the bottom air intake in the top. My only complaint is that the Top is fully secured and it’s very difficult to clean the top air intake because of that narrow space. Also, you should know that the instructions for installing these units a wrong and the instructions have never been corrected. Install both the top and the bottom with the paper towards the intake and the Carbon side towards the center of the unit.
