How often do I need to change the filters?

Your filter will last up to 1 year thanks to our proprietary RealTrack algorithm that accurately calculates the remaining filter lifetime based on fan speed, usage time and pollution levels.

When it's time to replace the filter, the filter replacement LED on the interface will turn red to remind you. Alternatively, connect to the Blueair app to receive an alert and easily re-order at the touch of a button.

Very quiet & easy to operate.
Customer service was very responsive and helped making setup very easy. With the use of the app, we are able to control the device remotely. Best of all, the app allowed us to set up a schedule so that we could control and change the fan speeds, depending on the time of day, going forward without any manual intervention. And we love how quiet the system is. It also looks good.

Would buy again!!!
We are so happy with our purchase! This one is perfect for our LR/DR area. We use it at a 2 setting during the day and the noise is not bad at all. We like it. Easy to live with.

No Difference
I purchased this with hopes that it might help with allergies. Unfortunately, it has not. It is a large piece making it difficult to blend in with in the decor. The upside however, would be that it is quiet. I keep it running in hopes that there is an invisible or unknown advantage for paying $350 for a large unattractive object that sits in the corner of my living room.

Great product.
Love the size, i.e. two feet height, one foot diameter, round shape, 360 degree intake; very quiet, simple to use, both device manual controls and the BlueAir smartphone app, e.g. air quality status LED light.

My first Blueair product
I recently purchased my first Blueair product which was the Blue 311i Plus Max air purifier. I have been very happy with my purchase and have been using the air purifier everyday since I received it. It just isn’t whisper quiet, it’s totally quiet. It is light and easy to move around and has plenty of useful features including: auto mode which monitors the air and adjusts the air purifier to the particular air quality currently in your household; an app on your phone that you use to control the air purifier with useful information like the quality of air in your home, neighborhood, and where you currently are at, the app also shows filter life remaining and has geo fencing to turn the air purifier off when you leave home and back on 15 minutes before you arrive back home. Most of all the air purifier is helping me breathe easier and is rated a best buy by a leading consumer magazine. It also comes with an included 3-year warranty after registration and a 60-day trial period.
