This product looks good and blends well as a nice piece of furniture while also providing solid air filtration and the ability to monitor air quality and control the unit via an app.

Unfortunately, the filter installation instructions are completely confusing. I thought Blue Air would recognize that the instructions don't make sense and fix them, but it has been years and every new filter comes with the same completely confusing installation instructions. Most other Blue Air units have a single filter with an arrow indicating placement in the direction of airflow. However, the DustMagnet has two filters and the airflow direction for the bottom is reversed for the top filter. It would seem that I should install the bottom filter with the arrow pointing up and the top filter with the arrow pointing down to match the direction of airflow. However, the instructions indicate that both arrows should point in the same direction. This contradicts the logic of all previous BlueAir products that I have owned where the arrow always points in the direction of the air flow.

Still giving the product high marks because I do like it, but the filter instructions need to be fixed!

We already have 1 Large Blue Air Purifiers and 2 small ones in our 1700 sq ft home. We have not noticed them doing anything at all for the dust issue in our house. We have zero carpet, non shedding dogs, live on a green golf course, and dust every day; but still have had lots of noticable dust on the living room tables. Since we plugged the new Dust Magnet in, the dust has been decreased by about 95%! It is fantastic! We also have noticed that when we cook in the kitchen which is about 20 feet from the living room, the Dust Magnet automatically turns up, which I can only guess is to rid the house of cooking odors. It is a fantastic unit and now I want to get rid of those other Blue Air Purifiers and buy 2 more Dust Magnets!

I was impressed by how much they'd thought about the appearance. It looks very stylish and doesnt feel out of place in the room. I was also suprised about being able to install an app on my phone to control it. All round I was impressed and anything that helps to cut down on dust can't be bad.

The Blue Air dust magnet air purifier is beautifully and elegantly designed and looks just like a piece of Scandinavian furniture. It's very simple to set up and comes with an app. It connects to WiFi so is easily controllable via my phone. The dust magnet is a wonderful device to keep airborne dust/allergens and odours away. I have my home office set up in my living room and find this particular room to attract more dust. Since having the dust magnet on I have noticed a considerable difference. I suffer from year round allergies so the dust magnet has been fantastic in reducing my allergy symptoms. There's a 5 colour led to show the quality of the air; this certainly works as it always changes, especially when we're cooking. It's not very loud and doesn't bother me at all, even whilst watching TV. The top surface also doubles up as a side table! Perfect to pop a book on top of or my glasses! It's an eloquoently designed air purifier that will look amazing in any modern home! It's definitely one to show off and not hide away in the corner of a room!
