What I like: it functions well. When I am using oil to cook it detects it and it speeds up to level 3. The night mode is great too since the noise level is low. The noise level is low and almost none when it's set to night mode. Level 3 is a bit noisy but I don't usually put it to level 3 anyway so I don't have a problem with it.

What I don't like: the surfaces get stained noticeably after 5 months and I can't get rid of them at all now. I used wet towel but they do not clean the dust stains all around the surface. Cleaning between the gap on the sides are extremely difficult. This is why I am giving 3 stars because I think in a year it will be very dirty and might not be the best in appearance. I sent an email to the team here regarding if there is a proper way to clean the surfaces and perhaps remove these dust stains, but I did not hear from them.

So disappointed with this purchase. Not even a month after we got this (maybe after only two weeks?), one of the legs broke off. We superglued it back in, but the rest of the legs feel insecure and I have serious concerns about the structural integrity of the purifier. I completed a form through Blueair immediately after the leg broke, but was never contacted by the company. As an air purifier, I do think it works well. I love the night mode, but I don’t think it’s too loud even on its highest setting. We haven’t had it that long, so I can’t speak to maintenance. I like the small footprint and the small tabletop. If I didn’t feel like it was going to fall over at any minute, this would be five stars. But it’s way too precarious and the fact that the company did nothing to resolve a situation with a faulty product (design?) leaves a lot to be desired. Can’t recommend this one.

I bought the DustMagnet to help with allergies. It fits in so gracefully into the room and is usually ultra quiet. Quick to sense air change, impurities. A helpful indicator lets you know the range the air is at. At night the subtle lights give it a space ship look which is cool. It was easy to set up with the HEPA filters and it's easy to clean the top filter. Love the way it doubles as a little table.
