You can only hear it on the highest setting

It has 3 settings and an auto mode.

I usually set it to auto.

I opted for the classic as it has an industrial feel about it.

Like they took time caring about its performance and features without spending too much time on its aesthetics.

Not doing the job it should and support is poor
I bought this in 2017 and, like another reviewer who bought in the same year, I'm also having issues with high PM 2.5 readings.零售商将我带到了我的Mac号码的重置，这解决了问题，但是在两个月内出现了同样的问题。 Blueair想进行另一个重置，但可以肯定的是，该机器未能减少PM2.5或故障。 My filter has around 2.5 months left and to be honest, I won't buy any more filters as it is a waste of my money. I don't know if I can claim Section 75 if I paid with a credit card, I'll have to check. But the product is not longer fit for purpose. And just to add: this was my 2nd machine. The first had a funny crackle, so my retailer replaced it. This one was boxed for about the last year until I was able to buy filters. So, I'm not impressed.

Good until noisiness, then breaking after 3 years
Good until it started making whining noises after 3 years which interrupted sleep; after another year, it summarily broke; the fan no longer turns. Seems like higher-quality equipment would be useful for such an expensive machine.

Brilliant product
I have run the 680i with smoke stop filters for 4 years. I change the filters every 6 months as recommended. It is located in the main part of the house where we cook, eat and relax - it’s a big space. We also have a large woodburner in the same space and a family dog who spends most of his time here. The smoke stop comes into its own when cooking or first lighting the woodburner. It is remarkable how effective it is. If I have one gripe it’s cleaning the 680i. Access to the grating areas is tricky and you have to use compressed air to blow dust off the numerous sensors. I appreciate the manufacturers do not want customers getting to the heart of the machine, but a slightly easier access could have been made. I highly recommend Blueair - yes it’s pricey, but it is a very well made machine with great customer support.

Don’t bother
