Overall Good, but Confusing Value: What Does the Blue Coating Actually Do?
The Allergenblock filter works as expected: air quality improves noticeably during cooking, and the auto mode responds well. But its specific allergen-blocking advantages are unclear. Beyond the blue coating, it looks identical to the standard filter: same thickness, same ribbing, no visible enhancements. The packaging offers zero explanation of what the blue coating does (antiseptic? extra filtration? molecular treatment?), making the upgrade feel under-justified. I paid extra for it, assuming it offered tangible benefits, but without allergy season here yet, I can’t verify its effectiveness. More transparency on how it differs from the standard filter would make this a stronger buy.

Quiet!
I just got these so don’t know how well they work, but they are stylish for an air purifier and very quiet, which is much appreciated. I have a larger one for our main living space and purchased smaller ones for the bedrooms.
