Overall Good, but Confusing Value: What Does the Blue Coating Actually Do?
The Allergenblock filter works as expected: air quality improves noticeably during cooking, and the auto mode responds well. But its specific allergen-blocking advantages are unclear. Beyond the blue coating, it looks identical to the standard filter: same thickness, same ribbing, no visible enhancements. The packaging offers zero explanation of what the blue coating does (antiseptic? extra filtration? molecular treatment?), making the upgrade feel under-justified. I paid extra for it, assuming it offered tangible benefits, but without allergy season here yet, I can’t verify its effectiveness. More transparency on how it differs from the standard filter would make this a stronger buy.

Does The Job!
Sooooooo quiet! I have it next to the bed and not a whirr in earshot. Simple design. Highly functional. I avoid subscribing for things but BA has a flex schedule for filter replacement…very cool.

Really poor product labeling
I don’t know why for such an expensive model this brand would make it impossible to find the model number anywhere on the unit when it’s time to change a filter.
needless to say I paid way too much money out my nose for a filter that doesn’t fit my model and I have still yet to figure out what model I have because I see it nowhere. I’m really not happy. Also getting the top off was really difficult to figure out. I mean, come on how basic is it to just put a damn model number on a unit in an easy place to find for when people want to change the filter? Or do they want us to pay $80 for the wrong filter so we have to buy another one this is so Maddening.
