A red filter replacement indicator appears on the air purifier when it is time to change filter, after about 6 months of operation.


After you replace your filter, press the center button down to reset the filter light indicator until the red light disappears. It usually takes 7-10 seconds and may take up to 30 seconds depending on the model.

    Deceptive website - this company will scam you

    Their website shows "free 30 day returns" (see image), but if you try to return something they'll say "you can't return it if it's open." In fact, if you receive a DEFECTIVE product they'll ask "is it open?" (well, how would I know it's defective if it's not open???)

    Buy another filter - don't give them a cent

    PS. They won't put this on their website, which is just more proof it's all a scam

    Waisted my money and was deceived!

    I bought 2 Blueair air purifiers 2 years ago and signed up to get filters sent every 6 months through the subscription service. Over 5 weeks ago I received an email from Blueair stating that the "payment failed to process” "due to issues with the payment method on file. Please update your payment method in your account to avoid any further disruptions to your subscriptions.” I checked my payment information on my account and it was all fine, the same as it has been since I initially purchased. I contacted Blueair and informed them that my payment information is all good. They kept insisting that I need to update my payment method and then they cancelled my subscription. I contacted my credit card company and they informed me that Blueair.com had been flagged for possible fraudulent activity and that is why the charge was not accepted. Blueair intentionally kept this information from me and left me to believe there was something wrong with my payment method. I informed my credit card company that it was a legitimate charge and that it would occur every six months and they told me they would lift the fraud alert hold for a few days so that the purchase would go through, but that in the long term Blueair would need to resolve their fraud alert status. I informed Blueair what my credit card company had told me but they failed to complete the credit card charge in the proper timeframe. And Blueair refuses to correct the issue that is preventing me from receiving new air filters.…

    Fabulous!

    I’m very happy with the air purifier in the filters! It’s made a huge difference in my home. Website ordering is not as easy as it could be when I need to make a change or a special order, but when I call, customer care is amazing!

    Fan broke

    Couldnt use filter because fan broke in the main unit. Was able to return filter.
