How do I reset my filter replacement indicator (red light) on my Blue Pure air purifier?

A red filter replacement indicator appears on the air purifier when it is time to change filter, after about 6 months of operation.

After you replace your filter, press the center button down to reset the filter light indicator until the red light disappears. It usually takes 7-10 seconds and may take up to 30 seconds depending on the model.

Disappointed Shipping
My new filter arrived in the retailer's box, not inside another box with cushioning. It's very damaged and I have photos of the crushed & torn corner. Im not sure yet if I can even use it.

My mainstay
I bought my first BlueAir many years ago to help me fight seasonal allergies. Worked fine. I was nearly symptom free at home even though I had spent the day in spaces with high pollen counts. A couple of years ago I had a serious lung malady that put me in the hospital for a week and left me using an oxygen concentrator for months. Now I monitor PM2.5 indoor and out every day. I run my BlueAir 24/7and wear a mask when I go outside. I think this has saved my life, or at least my health and vigor.
