How do I reset my filter replacement indicator (red light) on my Blue Pure air purifier?

A red filter replacement indicator appears on the air purifier when it is time to change filter, after about 6 months of operation.

After you replace your filter, press the center button down to reset the filter light indicator until the red light disappears. It usually takes 7-10 seconds and may take up to 30 seconds depending on the model.

Have had this 411 Series for a few years. Will continue to use it as the other day smoke was in the air and got in my home and the 411 really worked to clean the house air.

Hopeful
We have used Blueair products for a few years and have always been happy with their performance. This year there has been a bit more contaminants in the air with forest fire smoke, pollen and blown dirt and dust. So decided to go with the allergen filter to help take some of these out.
It’s only been about two weeks but it does seem to be helping. Our unit is in our bedroom which is a little more of a controlled space, and sleeping seems to be less congested.
Keeping our fingers crossed.

Great — but wasteful
My biggest gripe with this is how unsustainable the materials are. If there could be one with recyclable materials, or even some amount of waste reduction, or a return-reuse program, that would be better.
