Excellent product. So quiet!
It’s very close to our kitchen, which has very poor exhaust, it kicks right up and dies the job. We upgraded to the carbon filter because of the kitchen.
Highly recommend.

Smoke block filter does it function better than the regular filter?
Physically, the smoke block filter for the 511i do looks like they have more carbon than the regular one. But I’m on the fence as to whether the smoke block performs any better. I have not had opportunity to test it with smoke though. Just regular cooking smells and skunk. Not convinced it performed any better than the regular filter. I thought it would clear out the cooking smells much faster and more efficiently since it does have more carbon and cost more money. But disappointed that it did not.
