Kind of the half in/out smoker. Technically I'm not smoking inside but it drifts in; sticking my neck outside of my patio door doesn't really make a difference. That said; my environment doesn't smell like a smoker with the purifier at work.
Persistent cough I get during winter months. Nonexistent.
I live in a small apartment where food smells from cooking can be an issue: both good and bad. I don't suffer the consequences either way with the air purifier.
Wish I had saved a picture... alas I won't be going 2-3 years without a replacement going forward. The perks are too high.
Oh and the replacement was super easy.. QR code of the old filter- no searching the web for weird part numbers. I'm 50+... I have a clue but outdated, and I had no issue finding the replacement filter.

since owning an older blueair square metal purifier and using the smokeblock filter with that one and being impressed with its performance , i bought TWO smokeblock filters for my 411i a max purifier. i was shocked when not even two weeks later my fan is making a weird scratch noise, then not even a day later the whole unit shuts off like it has a short in it! My guess is that the filter put too much strain on the motor and put my unit to bed early.
Im hoping to get in touch with customer service to see about fixing this but im uncertain ill get a replacement as my 411i was a gift from my family back in april. and i dont have the reciept for it.
otherwise i hope to still use blueair products.

Before replacing the filter the device became red regardless of ventilation or any other identifiable factor. Same with new filter. Not sure what's going on.

If the red light is the filter indicator, it may just need a manual reset by holding the fan speed button for about 15 seconds until the lights flash. If it’s the air quality light staying red, something else may be affecting readings. We’re here to help, so please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
